CHANGING OF THE GUARD

A new commander of the Nashville District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officially takes over the district that is overseeing the Wolf Creek Dam repair project during a Friday Change of Command Ceremony.

Lt. Col. Bernard Lindstrom will replace Lt. Col Steven Roemhildt, who is headed to Iraq to help oversee reconstruction of Iraq.

Information and a history of Lt. Col Lindstrom will be sent out in the coming days as we receive it.

Lt. Col Roemhildt will be missed. We thank him for his efforts in helping ensure the project was on track and the public was informed.

MORE WEB CAMS FOCUSED ON THE LAKE

While they are not necessarily “new”, there are additional webcams on Lake Cumberland. Conley Bottom and Key Realtors web cams are up and running.

Conley has two views; one showing the main ramp at the dock and one looking across the lake. You can view Key’s at www.golakecumberland.com  and Conley’s at www.conleybottom.com

This brings the known total to five web cams on the lake and there may be others that I have not been told about.
